Ars Electronica 2004 begins »

ARS Electronica, the world's premier digital arts festival begins today, September 2-7, in Linz, Austria.

With the theme, Timeshift, the World in 25 years, the symposium is just one part of a programme including electrolobby, a Japanese animation programme, digital installations & performances, and the Prix Ars Electronica, prizes for digital excellence (this year including 7 Golden Nicas, the top award).
