Q: In what order do you work to create your music videos? Do you create music first, and then a visual to match, or vice-versa, or do you do both?
A: Definitely make the video first. So it’s the complete opposite of making commercial music videos.

Bloodspell casts machinima in new light

The final part of Bloodspell is the culmination of a thrilling machinima epic by Hugh Hancock's pioneering Strange Company. The first ever machinima feature is a medieval swords and sourcery epic that ups the ante for the next evolutions in the discipline. Filmed in realtime using the 3D game engine of Neverwinter Nights, it has become increasingly ablaze with pyrotechnics, and awash with gore, as the animation team have honed their skills.

For reference: John Paul Bichard's artwork: The White Room, is a set of photographic prints resulting from an in-game photo shoot that documents a series of constructed disasters(made using the 'film noir' videogame Max Payne 2).
