New Jeunet film website

Un Long Dimanche de Fiancailles website is now online, featuring film footage. The film (English title: A Very Long Engagement) stars Audrey Tatou (of his previous film, Amelie) and promises to be no less visually engaging than his previous work. Due for release: 27 October in France.

Mindgame

Mindgame is Studio 4°C's latest transcendental animation. The studio is headed up by producer Koji Morimoto, who made his name directing a section of Katsuhiro Otomo's Memories (Magnetic Rose was one of three films making up the feature), and recently with his accomplished Animatrix short, Beyond. Studio 4°C's latest release though has been directed by Masaaki Yuasa.

Antenna summer screening

July 22 is the date for London's NFT to once again screen the best recent music videos, courtesy of Antenna. Alongside the latest music videos hot off the beta-deck will be panellists Vez (Ninja Tune video commissioner), Vernie Yeung (hot from the recent Faultline video, Biting Tongues), and Graham Linehan (comedy writer/director turning his hand to promo's).
